We’ve Planned!
It all began with your ideas and wishes for our community - but what should we do with these ideas and wishes? What could we, as a Community Council, aspire to change in our area? In practical terms, What could we change? Who could we influence? Where would funding come from? How could we communicate and to whom?
Well the short answer is that all these points are covered in the Place Plan - our anchor and a tool we have used to capture our needs and wants and communicate these to the Scottish Borders Council.
Review of Outcomes
We will continually be reviewing the efficacy of the plan against our desired outcomes. We will compare actual outcomes to the original planned objectives, identify discrepancies, consider the reasons for successes and failures, and then make adjustments to the plan and future actions..
Now It’s Time For Action!
After many months of preparation and consultation the plan has now been registered and approved by the Scottish Borders Council and accordingly we will now commence putting our place plan…. into place!
This will involve soliciting grant funding, resources, and the other forms of support and assistance we need to make the plan come alive. Watch this space and visit this page again for updates and developments. We plan to make a real difference.
